Join the Multicultural Student Center in welcoming Award-Winning Journalist and TV Host, Laura Ling on Monday, March 27th @ 10am-12pm in Student Union 316CD.

Laura Ling captured the world's attention when she was arrested and held captive in North Korea for 140 days, after attempting to report on the trafficking of North Korean women. Ling captivated audiences with a raw and candid look inside the life of an international journalist- exposing critical global issues, the challenges faced in various parts of the world, and what she learned in one of the world's most recluse countries.

As part of the “Knight Experience” UCF strives to develop students to become active social and global citizens that value themselves and those around them. Additionally, as a Knight you should be able to understand and appreciate the diverse experiences and perspectives you will experience in and out of the classroom. iConnect was created to strengthen and engage the campus community, by providing opportunities for students to learn from each other, embrace differences and recognize shared experiences. iConnect uses interactive exercises and thought-provoking discussion to explore various social topics that impact today’s college student. If you are interested in having a dynamic experience that allows you to actively discuss current issues, develop skills and connect with your UCF campus, consider participating in the iConnect program Spring 2016!!!
