Two Drop Off Locations for New Toys

The UCF Veterans Academic Resource Center is hosting its 2nd Annual Toy for Tots Drive, starting Monday, December 5 until Thursday, December 15, 2016 by 10 a.m.

New unwrapped toys may be dropped off at either the:
1 Veterans Academic Resource Center’s lobby (CFE Arena, Suite 100) or
2. 1st Floor of the John C. Hitt Library
Last year, UCF collected over 450 new toys and hoping to exceed donations from last year.

The U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program started in 1947 by Major Bill Hendricks in Los Angeles, California where he collected approximately 5,000 toys before Christmas. Since its inception Toys for Tots has collected over 512 million toys for over 237 million children across the United States.
