Will you be ready for what’s next? Employers seek people that can communicate their problem solving skills, teamwork and professionalism. Each of these competencies can be achieved during your time at UCF and Career Services can help along the way. The Career Expo, specifically, can help you learn about different employment paths, employer expectations, and how to stand out, all in addition to finding a job.

On January 31, 2,838 students attended and 241 employers participated in the Spring 2017 Career Expo at the CFE Arena.

In the student evaluation surveys, 90 students reported they landed an interview and over 250 students reported they made a valuable employer connection. One student wrote: “This EXPO is fantastic, I really love and enjoy it. It shows almost all kinds of jobs and is very useful for me.” Another student commented, “I really enjoyed my time at the Career Expo, and I feel like I learned a lot about what I want to do with my career!”

The next opportunity to attend a career fair like this is the Statewide Job Fair on May 9 at the CFE Arena from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The fair attracts a similar number of employers and gives you another opportunity to connect with employers and reach your career goals.
