How To: Fund Your Undergraduate Research

Are you looking for ways to fund your undergraduate research experience? Not sure what opportunities you qualify for or what you’ll need to apply? This workshop for current undergraduate researchers will give you a general overview of the various types of funding available, as well as how to prepare strong applications.

How To: Get the Most Out Of a Conference

Are you a current undergraduate researcher preparing to attend an academic conference? Have you been to a few but wonder if you’re making the most of your experience? The workshop will help you learn how to maximize your time, network like a pro, and enjoy your next conference! It will cover everything from how to fund your trip and what to pack, to how to use the conference program to plan your days.

How To: Find & Apply For Summer Off-Campus Research Opportunities

Leave UCF for the summer; come explore opportunities to engage in research around the United States and the world! There are opportunities to engage in research at other universities and research institutions that are available to all students (e.g., the National Institute of Health). Previous UCF undergraduates have spent the summer all around the country including Harvard, Yale, Ohio State, Stanford, Vanderbilt, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and the University of Pennsylvania. .
