Fit Course: Group Exercise Instructors
Aerobics, Interval and Resistance Training. 4-week course designed to teach Knights different formats of group exercise. Course dates: 9/20, 9/27, 10/4, and 10/11.
Concepts will include group fitness class safety, musicality, class design and formatting, choreography, modifications, and rhythmical muscle toning movement to develop aerobic fitness. Concepts taught will include proper warm-up and cool down techniques, class progression, stretching, cueing/transitioning, and heart rate monitoring.
